Pulp molding products for general industrial packaging use recycled wood fiber raw materials, such as waste cardboard boxes, waste paper trays, and waste honeycomb cardboard. During processing, no reinforcing agents, waterproofing agents, or oil-resistant agents need to be added.

Wood fiber itself is relatively long and strong, meeting the requirements of industrial packaging products. However, pulp molding products for food packaging and lunch boxes generally use commercial pulp, such as wood pulp, straw pulp, and reed pulp. During processing, certain waterproofing agents and oil-resistant agents need to be added to give the finished product a certain degree of water and oil resistance, while also meeting relevant hygiene standards.

Pulp molding is a three-dimensional papermaking technology. It uses waste paper as raw material, shaping paper products into specific shapes using special molds on a molding machine. It has four major advantages: The raw material is waste paper, including cardboard, waste cardboard boxes, and waste white paper, with a wide range of sources; the production process involves pulping, adsorption molding, drying, and shaping, which is environmentally friendly; it can be recycled and reused; and it is smaller in volume than foamed plastics, can be stacked, and is convenient for transportation. Pulp molding, besides being used for lunch boxes and tableware, is increasingly being used for industrial cushioning packaging, and its development is very rapid.
